Friday we left Huntsville later than anticipated (gasp ... shock!!) and got caught in Nashville rush hour traffic (ick!) It took us about 2 hours to move through the greater Nashville area (about 40 miles). When we moved back to EST we realized that it would be a late night indeed. So we stopped for the night in Clarksville, Indiana (just across the river from Louisville, KY) and drove the rest of the way this morning. Zach's party was pushed back until Sunday evening to accomodate other family members, so we weren't in a hurry.
My father-in-law has graciously given up his driveway and garage to us for the duration of our stay. We disconnected the Jeep in front of their house and backed the RV into the driveway. It completely blocks access to the garage except for bike access (which is where they are residing currently - locked away from would be thieves!) I've gotta say - it's hard to imagine how large this vehicle is until it is placed next to a house and garage - WOW - it's big!!
We left nearly immediately after our arrival to attend the birthday gathering of one of Steph's cousins (in town from Houston, TX). Donna (the cousin) had made Beef Brisket to serve with our burgers and hot dogs. Having just come from Alabama and having sampled some of the best BBQ restaurants they had to offer .... I was happy to tell her that this was head and shoulders above anything we had eaten in 'Bama! It was simply the BEST beef brisket I'd ever had in my life. I was just wishin that I'd had some of my Jim & Nick's BBQ sauce to put on it!!
On our way back to Steph's parents house, we stopped in to see her brother Mike at his house. He was quite happy to see us. We visited for a bit before heading home. Once back there, we got the boys beds ready, put the top up on the Jeep, sorted through a months worth of mail and relaxed. Yet here it is again that everyone else is in bed and I am up working on a computer. Some things never change!!

We enjoyed out time and pray that God will lead you to the right area. Please be open to what God has and where He leads. It may be somewhere that isn't even on the map.

Hi guys, glad you had a great time in Alabama. Michael will be leaving Ft. Rucker this week as Mr. Prevost (Mr. is what Warrant Officers are called). We can't wait for him to come home. And believe or not he's home for one day and then leaves for Webelos camp the next. But that ought to be a piece of cake compare to what he's been through. --- The boys want me to tell you that we went to the Boy Scout Jamboree for a day and it was AWESOME. Maybe we can all go to the next one.
